Whirlwind ‘Starlight’ or 'White'

Is a heat-loving, trailing Scaevola known for its distinctive bicolor fan-shaped flowers in purple and white. Exceptionally durable in hot, dry, or coastal climates, this variety performs beautifully in hanging baskets, containers, window boxes, and sunny garden beds, providing nonstop color with very little maintenance. 

Water Requirements: Low to moderate. Allow soil to dry slightly between waterings; drought tolerant once established.

Soil:
Well-draining soil. Performs especially well in containers using high-quality potting mix.

Growth Rate:
Moderate.

Bloom Time:
Spring through fall; nearly continuous flowering in warm conditions.

Temperature:
Warm-season annual in most regions. Excellent heat tolerance; will not tolerate frost.

Pruning:
Minimal. Light trimming mid-season can encourage fuller growth but is generally not required.

Toxicity:
Not considered toxic to pets or humans.
