Sandankwa Viburnum

Is a dense, evergreen shrub valued for its durability, versatility, and lush dark-green foliage. Widely used in hedges, screens, and foundation plantings, it performs exceptionally well in warm, humid climates and requires minimal maintenance once established.

Temperature: Hardy in zones 8–10. Excellent heat tolerance; can withstand brief cold but may be damaged below 20–25°F (–6 to –4°C).

Pruning: Minimal. Prune after flowering to shape or maintain size. Handles heavy pruning well and makes an excellent formal hedge.

Toxicity: Mildly toxic if ingested; avoid consumption. Generally safe for handling.
