These fun, shaped plants will add formal interest points to a landscape!
Water Requirements: Allow the soil to dry out completely between deep waterings. Avoid watering the leaves and trunk.
Soil: Well-draining, fertile, sandy soil is required. Compost can be added to the soil to help ensure richness and fertility.
Growth Rate: Slow.

Temperature: Warm and humid.
Pruning: Prune dead and diseased branches any time. Prune stray topiary branches in early spring, and light pruning can be done at the beginning of summer. When pruning, prune for shapeliness and height.
Toxicity: Some juniper berries can be toxic in large quantities.
