Is a selected cultivar of saw palmetto valued for its striking silver-blue foliage and improved uniformity. Commonly used in native landscapes, mass plantings, and accent groupings, it provides a more refined and ornamental appearance while maintaining the durability and low maintenance of the species.
Water Requirements: Low. Highly drought tolerant once established; water regularly during the first growing season, then rarely as needed.
Soil: Well-draining soil. Performs best in sandy soils; highly tolerant of poor soils and coastal conditions.
Growth Rate: Slow to moderate.
Bloom Time: Spring; produces small flowers followed by berry-like fruit.
Temperature: Hardy in USDA Zones 8–11. Excellent heat and cold tolerance; very resilient once established.
