Nemesia ‘Esscential’

Is a compact, flowering annual valued for its long-lasting, fragrant blooms and vibrant color range. Commonly used in seasonal color beds, borders, containers, and hanging baskets, it provides excellent cool-season color and attracts pollinators. Its tidy growth habit makes it ideal for mass plantings and high-visibility landscape areas.  

Water Requirements: Moderate. Requires consistent moisture; drought tolerance is limited. Water regularly, especially during warm or dry periods.

Soil: Well-draining soil. Performs best in fertile, loamy soils but adapts well to standard landscape and container mixes.

Growth Rate: Moderate.

Bloom Time: Fall through spring; produces abundant, fragrant flowers.

Temperature: Cool-season annual. Performs best in mild temperatures; tolerates light frost but declines in heat.

Pruning: Minimal. Light trimming or deadheading encourages continued flowering and a compact form.

Toxicity: Not considered toxic to people or pets.
