Description:
Liriope muscari is a clumping, evergreen perennial valued for its grass-like foliage and adaptability in the landscape. Commonly used as a border plant, groundcover, or edging, it provides year-round structure and is widely used in residential and commercial plantings for its durability and low maintenance.
Water Requirements: Low to moderate. Drought tolerant once established; water regularly during the first growing season, then as needed.
Soil: Well-draining soil. Adapts well to sandy and loamy soils; tolerant of a wide range of conditions if drainage is adequate.
Growth Rate: Moderate.
Bloom Time: Late summer to early fall; produces spikes of small flowers.
