Commonly known as Indian Hawthorn, is a compact, evergreen shrub valued for its dense growth habit, attractive foliage, and seasonal blooms. Commonly used in foundation plantings, low hedges, and mass plantings, it provides year-round structure and is well suited for residential and commercial landscapes, especially in coastal environments.
Water Requirements: Low to moderate. Drought tolerant once established; water regularly during the first growing season, then as needed.
Soil: Well-draining soil. Performs best in sandy or loamy soils; tolerates slightly alkaline conditions and coastal environments.
