Serenoa repens (Green Saw Palmetto)

Commonly known as Green Saw Palmetto, is a Florida-native, low-growing palm valued for its dense, clumping habit and fan-shaped fronds. Commonly used in native landscapes, mass plantings, and naturalized areas, it provides excellent groundcover, erosion control, and wildlife habitat while adding a rugged, natural look to residential and commercial settings.

Temperature: Hardy in USDA Zones 8–11. Excellent heat and cold tolerance; very resilient once established.
